Our little m&m is seven months old and is such a blessing each and every day. She is starting to put on a little weight, up to 15 pounds 6 ounces now and still long. Mallory has started sitting up on her own, though she prefers to be on her tummy where she can move and get to everything. As of tonight we are not crawling, but I have a feeling that will be changing very quickly. Just today it seemed like it went from, well she can move, to moving with a purpose and quickly. But her moving is still done by rolls and such, not real crawls. Mallory loves to eat everything, and gets very vocal during dinner if she doesn't have food on her tray as well. Mallory's favorite person in the world is Chloe. It is amazing to watch the two of them interact together. Mallory can be upset and Chloe will come do something "funny" and Mallory has forgotten about whatever it was and starts belly laughing. Mallory has also become very interested in Astro the past two weeks. He is so good with her, just like he was with Chloe. I'm sure once Astro realizes that Mallory will pet and play with him too just like Chloe does they really will become the three musketeers.
Chloe is also doing very well. Her manners are getting better and she loves to talk to you about anything. Her current favorite "game" to play is monster, where she has one of us be the monster and chase her around the house or we all have to go into her or Mallory's room and hide because there is a monster in the house. Chloe has a great imagination and it is a lot of fun to listen to what she can come up with.
That's about it for now. Enjoying the longer days and warmer temps, but not really ready for the heat yet. Hopefully spring will stick around a little longer before we get into the really hot days of summer.
